This is the third time that we have used him. This time around, Joe and Robert re-did the Guest Bath and the Master Bath in a three-week period. In the guest bath, they removed a tub and replaced it with a tiled walk-in shower. Making the shower fit the space without doing a complete renovation of the bathroom is a piece of art. In the master bath, Joe and Robert renovated the walk-in shower, which was more than twice the size of the guest bath. They gave us great advice on the whole job: tile, grout, plumbing, and fixtures. Their craftsmanship was even better than their advice. The tile looks great. In addition, they were very professional. They showed up when they told us they would. Their estimate of timing was spot on. They cleaned up at the end of every day. Joe quoted us a price for the labor and helped us estimate the cost of materials, which we paid. We bought most of the materials directly. For some of the material, such as for construction material that fit better into Joe's truck, Joe picked it up and we reimbursed him, his cost; Joe didn't get a mark-up on the materials. Renovation is uncertain and requires collaboration between the owner and the craftsmen. Communications with Joe and Robert were excellent. Importantly, Joe stuck to his price even though there were unexpected issues with renovation and minor changes in design. The price for his and Robert's labor was the price he had quoted us at the beginning. Overall, Joe and Robert were great. I am glad I hired Joe and Robert to rebuild the shower in the master bathroom. They are honest, hard-working, and experienced. Joe even went with me to pick out tile and shower components, advising me on what was best and what to avoid. Joe accommodated my desire to reinforce the places on the walls where I wanted grab bars installed, even though he thought it was unnecessary, because I wanted to be extra confident they would hold my weight. He even returned after the job was done to figure out why the shower head water flow was low and fixed it. Back in September of this year, Joe and Robert did a bathroom for me and did an excellent job, exceptional, did everything I wanted did it within the financial constraints that we discussed, which was very reasonable. This time around, he sent a guy out. His name was Reid, he did a phenomenal job i had about 250 square feet of tile that needed to be torn out. Reid jackhammer did out and then got down on his hands and knees and physically, scraped that down to the concrete. And installed the new tile, a flawlessly. I would highly recommend Bravo tile to anybody. I've been a contractor for over 40 years. And I know what a good job is. And what a bad job is. They do excellent work. 100% recommended in my book.
